From the Evernote Blog:

“Just two short weeks ago, we launched the completely redesigned Evernote Web. It came complete with a totally new interface, new sharing options, huge speed enhancements, and lots more. At launch, there were a few features that we had not yet implemented, which were available in the old Evernote Web. We’re excited to announce one of the biggest: file attachments.

Attaching files on Evernote Web

Now, attaching any file to your notes on Evernote Web is a snap. You have two options.

Paper clip icon

Click the paper clip icon in the note tool bar. Then browse to the file on your computer. You can attach multiple files to a single note.

Drag and drop

If you’re looking for an even easier option, grab a file off of your desktop or file system and drag it onto the title bar of the note you’re editing. You can drag multiple files at once, or one by one up to a total of ten. File drag and drop currently works on Chrome and Safari.

Why this is cool

Your memories take many forms. Evernote is not only great for saving them, but also for giving you the full story about those memories. If you’re going on a trip, your Evernote account may contain checklists, itineraries, confirmations, photos, and web clips. If you’re collaborating with your team, then you might have meeting notes, Powerpoints, audio recordings, and whiteboard snapshots. Keeping everything in one place, makes life a whole lot easier.

Premium feature: Attach any file

Free users can attach up to 25MB of text, images, audio and PDFs to their notes. Premium subscribers can attach any file they like, up to a 50MB. Also, Premium users get 1GB of new note content per month, great for attaching lots and lots of stuff. Learn more about Evernote Premium »
